EVNotify allows you to remotely monitor data of your eletric vehicle.
It allows you to record your drives and charges as well as get detailed insights about them. You can also be notified about certain events, such as when the charge ended or you reached a specific state of charge.
With the all new app version "v3" of EVNotify, you will be able to contribute within the development during the early phases of the app. The new app will get even more exciting features in the future and a broader support.

After linking your OBD-II device with your car, you see data and get useful insights.
Whenever you charge or drive, logs are created automatically, so you can see a detailed summary about them.
Not only in logs, but even during your charge or drive, you can not only see the current live data, but also get a detailed view of your current session information, such as the amount you already charged (Premium feature).
You want to know when the car is nearly full? Or the charge interrupted? No problem. Define your rules, when and how you want to get notified.
As an upcoming Premium feature, you can choose to share your current road trip with friends in real time.
Even when there is a Premium plan that can be optionally bought, basic features will always be free to use. And even the Premium features, can be temporarly unlocked with watching ads, if you want to.
Download the app and create an account. You will retrieve an "AKey", which is an anonymous identifier, such as a username.
Enable Bluetooth, turn on the car and plug in your OBD-II device. Search for your device within the app settings and connect to it. Choose your car afterwards.
You are ready to go. Just drive around or charge and you will see the data of your car.
You can not only be notified in certain events and retrieve notifications, but you can also link other devices, or even use a web interface, to see the data of your account, you created before.
EVNotify is and will always be free to use. Years ago, when I created the first working version, that was able to communicate with the car, I promised to create something, that will be useful to you and something that anyone can use.
I don't want to change that - however of course, everything costs a lot of money. The development itself of course, but also recurring costs for the infrastructure and other things.
I relied on donations, which worked in the beginning of EVNotify quite well, since costs and the usage itself were low.
Costs are increasing, and the concept of "Donationware" is not fair for all of you.
Since I want to build a reliable and useful product, there needs to be sustainable and fair pricing model.
Of course you are not forced to pay, and all basic features, as you need them, will still be usable.
If you want to get more useful features and especially want to support the development, there will be a paid plan in the future.
Important: For now, there is the Alpha Phase. This is an one time purchase. Pricing features will be enabled in the Beta Phase and are not active yet.
